Please review these policies carefully as they are the terms of sale that govern your purchases at confetti.com.sg. They set out your rights and obligations with respect to your purchases, including important limitations and exclusions. By placing an orderwith us, you will deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

About these Terms and Conditions
References to ‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’ mean confetti.com.sg and ‘you’ and ‘your’ meansyou, the customer.

These terms and conditions govern your registration for an account (an ‘Account’)and the supply by us of products ordered by you on the republic.com.sg website (the ‘Website’)

No other terms and conditions will apply. The contract cannot be varied unless we agree to vary it in writing or by e-mail.

Definitions and Interpretation in these Terms and Conditions

‘Acknowledgement’ means our acknowledgement of your Order;

‘Confirmation’ means our e-mail to you in which we accept your Order;

‘Contract’ means these terms and conditions together with your Order;

‘Order’ means an order placed by you to purchase a Product from us;

‘Product’ means any product listed on the Website;

‘Submission’ means any written comments including a Review that you supply to us or post directly to the Website relating to the Products together with any photographs.

Business Hours
We operate Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. except for gazetted Singapore public holidays.

Registration for the Website
Age Limit
To register for an Account, you must be over the age of 18.

Need for an Account
If you would like to place an Order through the Website, you need to create an Account on the Website. To register, you need to supply us with your name, address, e-mail address and possibly some other personal information.

Registration Details
Once you register with the Website, you will be asked to create a username for and allocate a password to your Account. You must keep the password confidential and immediately inform us if any unauthorised third party becomes aware of that password or if there is any unauthorised use of your e-mail address or your Account or any breach of security known to you. You agree that any person to whom your user name or password is disclosed is authorised to act as your agent for the purposes of using (and/or transacting via) your Account. You are entirely responsible if you do not maintain the confidentiality of your password.

E-mail Address
You must be registered with a valid personal e-mail address that you access regularly so that, among other things, administration e-mails can be sent to you. Accounts thathave been registered with someone else’s e-mail address or with temporary e-mail addresses may be closed without notice. We may require you to validate Accounts at registration or if we believe you have been using an invalid e-mail address.

Closing Accounts
We reserve the right to prevent you from using the Website or your Account, and we reserve the right to decline a new registration.

Placing Your Order
You may place an Order by following the instructions on the Website.

Your Order remains valid as an offer until we dispatch the Product which is the subject of your Order or when you receive your notice revoking your Order.

By placing an Order, you make an offer to us to purchase the Products you have selected. We may or may not accept your offer at our discretion. Unless expressly stating that we accept your Order, an e-mail, letter, fax or other Acknowledgement of your Order by us is purely for information purposes and does not constitute our acceptance of your Order. In an Acknowledgement, we may give you an Order reference number and details of the Product you have ordered. If we accept your Order, we will notify you of our acceptance by issuing a Confirmation by e-mail. The Confirmation will be effective on sending.

Information contained on the Website constitutes an invitation to treat. No such information constitutes an offer by us to supply any Products.

Accuracy of Prices
We take reasonable care in trying to ensure that the price given to you is accurate but the price of your Order will need to be validated by us as part of our acceptance procedure. If the price for the Order changes before we accept your Order, we will contact you by telephone or e-mail to ask you to confirm that you wish to proceed at the amended price.

Amendments to Prices
We reserve the right to change prices for Products displayed on the Website at any time.

We are unable to refund or credit the difference between the price you were charged at the time you placed your Order and the current selling price.

Conformity of Goods
We take every care to ensure that the description and specification of our products are correct. However, specifications and descriptions of Products on this website are not intended to be binding and are intended only to give a general description of the Products. Furthermore, while the colour reproduction of the products is a close representation, we cannot accept any responsibility for any colour variation caused by the browser software or computer system used to view the Products.

We will also make substitutions for perishable products from time to time due to seasonal availability and so that orders are received on time.

We accept three modes of payment at this time: Singapore interbank transfer, credit card and PayPal.

We are not responsible for any Foreign Transaction Fees charged by your bank if you are using an international credit card.

Orders placed during non-business hours will begin payment processing the next business day.

You must pay the price payable in Singapore dollars as indicated on your Order.

You will be unable to cancel any Orders placed once payment has been made.

We will take all reasonable care to keep the details of your Order and payment secure. But in the absence of our negligence, we cannot be held liable for any loss suffered by us or you if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the Website. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to the Website; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to preventunauthorised access.

We aim to deliver the Product to you at the place of delivery requested by you in your Order.

We are unable to amend Orders or combine Orders that were separately made once we have issued our Acknowledgement so be certain you have provided us all accurate information before placing your Order. We accept no liability for undelivered parcels where you have provided an incorrect or invalid address and/or failed to collect the Order from the delivery address specified.

We aim to process all Orders within 2 business days upon payment.

We always aim to deliver in accordance with any confirmed delivery date we have been given to you for any Order that we accept but we cannot guarantee any firm delivery dates.

Any products not available at the time of your order will be sent to you, as soon as possible, when received from the supplier. We cannot be held responsible for delays in the delivery caused by the supplier, the carrier or any other third party.

Substitutions may be made for orders for perishable items. Further details regarding this can be found on the Website.

In the event of your Order being lost by a third party, we bear no risk once it has left our premises.

Where your Order has been signed for, all risk in the Product shall pass to you. From the time when risk passes to you, we will not be liable for loss or destruction of the Product.

If you believe that a parcel has been tampered with, it is your responsibility to refuse to sign for the goods.

Where your Order has been lost by a third party, received damaged or where the parcel has been tampered with, we will forward a claim to the carrier on your behalf. Before this can be processed, we will issue you with a ‘Lost Orders Form’ which must be completed and returned before any claim can be pursued.

This is not a guarantee and we have the right to refuse any application at our sole discretion. Failure to give accurate information while making a claim may lead to prosecution.

Accepting Delivery
We cannot leave Products at places of delivery stipulated in your Order if you, or someone you have authorized to accept delivery, is not present to accept delivery. Anyone at the delivery address will be deemed to be authorised to accept delivery.

On delivery of the Product, you are required to sign for delivery. You agree to inspect the Product for the correct quantities and any obvious faults, defects or damage. Receipt of product represents acceptance of product. You need to keep receipt of the delivered Product in case of future discussions with us about it.

Care when Opening
You must take care when opening the Product so as not to damage it, particularly when using any sharp instruments.

Readiness to Receive Products
If no one is available to take delivery of your Products, we will attempt to re-deliver at a chargeable fee. Further details regarding this can be found on the Website.

Defective Items
Receipt of product represents acceptance of product. A product defect, if any, is covered under the terms of your Product’s warranty. You may review the warranty information and other supporting documentation, including its limitations and exclusions, that came with your Product or on our Website.

Reviews and Submissions
You warrant that you will be accurate and that you will not submit content that is unlawful or otherwise objectionable whenever you make a Submission. This includes, but is not limited to, content that is abusive, threatening, harassing, defamatory, ageist, sexist or racist. You warrant that any such contribution complies with those standards and that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to the content that you post, and you indemnify us for any breach of these warranties.

Any material you upload to the Website will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary, and we have the right to use, copy, distribute and disclose to third parties any such material for any purpose. You agree to grant us an exclusive, irrevocable,worldwide, assignable, perpetual licence to use it worldwide on the Website (and make it available to other users) and in our marketing materials and for any other business purposes, and to edit your Submissions in the event that we deem it necessary or desirable to do so for whatever reason.

You agree to waive your right to be identified as the author of such content and your right to object to derogatory treatment of such content.

You acknowledge that making a Submission does not guarantee that such Submission, or any part thereof, shall appear on the Website, but agree that we may, at our sole discretion, choose to display any Submission or any part of a Submission that you make on the Website.

We have the right to use the name that you submit in connection with such content and to disclose your identity to any third party who is claiming that any material posted or uploaded by you to the Website constitutes a violation of their intellectual property rights, or of their right to privacy.

We will not be responsible, or liable to any third party, for the content or accuracy of any materials posted by you or any other use of the Website.

We have the right to remove any material or posting you make on the Website if, in our opinion, such material does not comply with the content standards set out above.

Any user who feels that any Submission made by other users is objectionable is encouraged to contact us. We will review the relevant Submission as soon as is practicable and will take such action as it deems necessary, if any.

Our Liability
These terms and conditions set out the full extent of our obligations and liabilities in respect of the supply of the Products and there are no warranties, conditions or other terms that are binding on us except as expressly stated in the Contract. Any warranty, condition or other term concerning the Products which might otherwise be implied into or incorporated in the Contract by statute, common law or otherwisotherwise (including without limitation any implied term as to quality or fitness for purpose) is hereby expressly excluded.

We will not be liable under the Contract for any loss of income, loss of profits, loss of contracts, loss of data or for any indirect or consequential loss or damage of any kind howsoever arising and whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract or otherwise.

Our maximum aggregate liability under the Contract whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise shall in no circumstances exceed the amount payable by you to us in respect of the Product(s) in question.

Circumstances Beyond our Control
We shall not be liable to you for any breach, hindrance or delay in the performance of the Contract attributable to any cause beyond our reasonable control, including any Act of God, actions of third parties (including without limitation hackers, suppliers, governments, quasi-governmental, supra-national or local authorities), insurrection, riot, civil commotion, war, hostilities, warlike operations, national emergencies, terrorism, piracy, arrests, restraints or detainments of any competent authority, strikes, or combinations or lock-out of workmen, epidemic, fire, explosion, storm, flood, drought, weather conditions, earthquake, natural disaster, accident, mechanical breakdown, third party software, failure or problems with public utility supplies (including general: electrical, telecoms or Internet failure), shortage of or inability to obtain supplies, materials, equipment or transportation (‘Event of Force Majeure’), regardless of whether the circumstances in question could have been foreseen.
